Black Rock has been around awhile and has a rich history here in the heart of the Finger Lakes Wine Country. The track started back in 1957 as the Dundee Speedway by the Bath Speedway Club (a.k.a. the Cohocton Valley Racing Association).  One story told is that Black Rock got its name after being reclayed with a noticeably darker surface.

The track is a 4/10 mile, clay, semi-banked oval. Although new to the series, this track is known to deliver a good show.  The spectator base is great as they are accustomed to late model, sprint, monster truck, and school bus racing.  Black Rock Speedway is also known to host tractor pulls.  Fans will surely enjoy the high speeds of quads as they experience extreme dirt track racing for the first time!
